Sudipta Khersa
Asst. Prof of Janata College Kabuganj, the only Dimasa lady with PhD degree in
Bengali(Awarded on 28/11/2011)from Assam University Silchar. She is the
daughter of Bhubanjoy Barman Khersa. She did her PhD on Lokopuran
O Lokokather Nirikhe Dimasar Samaj O Sanskriti Anweshan (Dimasa society and culture in the context
of Dimasa Mythology and Folktales) under the guidance of Dr.(Ms) Roma
Bhattacharyya, Dept of Bengali AU Silchar. The college fraternity feels proud
of her and wishes her more success in life.
